About DL O’Donoghue

DL O’Donoghue is a graduate of Syracuse University and Ohio University and an award-winning broadcaster, including multiple Associated Press honors and a Marconi Award. A former journalist for Patch in suburban Atlanta and member of Georgia Romance Writers, she now teaches TV production, podcasting, radio, and social media at Volunteer State Community College, where she also manages the student-operated radio station, 88.5 WVCP. DL is an occasional photographer (yes, she took that shot of the ship with her camera phone!) and an avid podcaster, producing and co-hosting the Go Tell Mom series with her friend and colleague, Sheri Waltz. DL also spent part of her Syracuse experience in France as part of SU’s Strasbourg program. That’s another story…one that included breaking her ankle on the steps of the Louvre!

DL is the mom of two “independent thinkers” - who have always kept her on her toes during the last couple of decades!
